Can iMON turn my PC on?

This is a question we get repeatedly.
The answer is "NO".

However, for an HTPC that is intedned to be instantly available there is an even a better alternative. It is called "Stand By" mode in Windows.

You can program iMON's power button to trigger "Stand By" mode of Windows. Activating stand by mode works far better than actually shutting down. This way, you can turn on your computer using iMON nearly instantly.
