My Extreme Case runs hot. What can I do to keep the case temperature down?

• Clean cable arrangement DOES improve airflow and cooling efficiency.
• Use SATA Drive over IDE drive (clean cable)
• If IDE Drive must be used, then use a round cable, not a flat one
• Be sure to keep the air intake (front bottom) clear of any obstacles
• System off the floor to clear air intake and prevent dust suction
• Dust sets in and create a blanket effect/ short circuit
• A little drummel work, but if you can, cut out a side vent or top vent directly over CPU area
• (For 2.8Ghz and Above)
• Install a 120mm case fan onto the newly-made vent
• With 120mm working at low RPM, you may quiet down the small fans and still not suffer from overheating
